Rach, a British-American art-curator from Sheffield,  founded The Art Post back in 2020, an art postcard subscription showcasing art from up and coming local artists. Featured across local and national press, The Art Post has has been revolutionising the way people discover artists.

Jump to 2022, and our mission with Find the Artists is no different: we've landed stateside and are on a mission to showcase artists from across the US through and unearth key inspiring moments from their lives.

Cognitive neuroscientists found that creating art reduces cortisol levels (markers for stress), and that through art people can induce positive mental states. These studies are part of a new field of research, called neuroesthetics: the scientific study of the neurobiological basis of the arts.

We're curating artist talks from across the United States to inspire young people to express themselves through art. This guide is for schools to share with parents on their websites and social media.
